High potential and gifted education

At Tumbarumba High School, we are committed to our vision statement: Excellence and Opportunity for All.  This commitment entails providing and delivering high potential and gifted education that encompasses a wide range of programs and opportunities designed to challenge our students and enrich their learning experiences. Through a variety of academic, cultural, civic, sporting and extracurricular activities, we provide pathways for high potential and gifted students to develop their skills and a growth mindset, explore their interests, and reach their full potential. We create an inclusive and supportive environment that recognises and nurtures each student’s unique strengths, encouraging them to embrace challenges and pursue their passions with confidence.  Our rural students’ needs and interests are also targeted and supported through dynamic Enrichment Initiatives.
