Our Principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our Principal
Tumbarumba High School is located in the picturesque foothills of the Snowy Mountains and has an enrolment of approximately 170 students. Our dedicated staff are committed to providing a quality learning experience for our students which is underpinned by the school’s vision statement: “Excellence and Opportunity for All”.
We have adopted a dynamic approach to providing a broad and sustainable curriculum. The school has adapted to students' curriculum needs through the provision of VET and Distance Education options in Years 11-12; the delivery of some senior subjects through the Rural Learning Exchange; and the adoption of vertically-aligned senior classes.
Our students readily access extra-curricular opportunities in Sport and the Arts which enable them to excel through a variety of different experiences. Student interest and engagement in these areas has also been nurtured and supported through various Enrichment Initiatives. Our students have proudly represented the school in sporting competitions at zone, regional and state levels.
I invite you to explore our website to discover the opportunities and programs afforded through our school.
